About

You can't get closer to Olympic National Park’s own Hurricane Ridge, than our perfectly secluded 120 square ft. glamping tent. Only 1.5 mile from the ONP entrance station, 1 mi. from popular hiking trails and 5 mi. from downtown Port Angeles. While being nestled amongst ancient cedar, douglas fir and alder trees you’ll feel as though you’ve trekked to the top of a nearby mountain… with the luxury of your vehicle parked nearby and the comfort of a wood stove!

Good to know

The dome tent is outfitted with a queen size Tempurpedic bed, pillows & high-quality bedding // this space is ideal for 2 guests but we also can provide a sleeping cot for noted additional 3rd guest (recommended for children only). The tent's small wood stove will be available to take the chill off indoors. And a pair of Adirondack chairs to seat you on our back deck for your morning coffee/tea - Complete with our outdoor propane fire-pit for evening ‘smores … what else would one need? There is NO RUNNING water at the dome's site, but there is an outdoor sink with foot-pump operated rain barrel for rinsing your dishes, a brand-new sani-can for a restroom is located on the premises , provided t.p. & hand sanitizer. NO running water also means there isn't a shower. Rural with amenities is exactly what we have ;-) There are showers at our local YMCA and another at our fully remodeled City aquatic center - both are only 5-6 miles from dome.

Other Details to Note

There is a power strip in the dome for convenient phone charging as well as to operate our provided electric kettle - hello, quick hot water for your morning coffee! We also have provided several solar lights, a bug zapper, a cooler and 2 gallons of drinking water w/ disposable cups for your use!

This was a lovely place to stay! The property and dome were beautiful and so cozy. The location was great for visiting the national park and an easy drive into port Angeles for food, etc. The port a potty was super clean and this was a stellar glamping experience!

Mary and Hannah were both very helpful and welcoming! I felt very comfortable thanks to their detailed instructions. There is no cell service (as expected), but they did their best to be available to help when needed! My biggest concern going in was the bathroom, but it was very clean and private. I would absolutely stay again :)

What a cool glamping dome! Very comfortable. We stayed two nights and kept warm with night temperatures dipping into the 30s. Plenty of blankets and easy to start stove/ fire. Thoughtful touches throughout. Great communication. Peaceful, beautiful forest. We would definitely stay again.

Mary's place was a perfect and peaceful glamping get away. The amities were everything you needed, the wood burning furnace kept the dome at a comfortable temperature. Mary and Hannah were quick to respond and very kind. I would love to stay here again!

We've been always wanting to explore the nature of Olympic national park, and visit Cape Flattery. As I was looking for places to stay, I came across this gem! staying in a tent in the middle of October could be risky but this place has all you ever need. The place is just exactly as how it’s described in the listing. We loved the fire box! The hosts, Mary and Hannah, are very responsive and have been very thoughtful in designing the interios of the Tent. Looking forward to returning here!

The place was in a great location. Close to town, but still had a remote feel. Also close to many hikes and trails and beautiful views. Would highly recommend this for a glamping night for 2!

At first I thought the price seemed a bit high for essentially a tent in someone's yard, well that thought went out the window as soon as I arrived. one of the most comfortable cozy airbnbs I've ever stayed at! exactly as described and in the photos. the fireplace is a wonderful amenity, it even came complete with everything needed for s'mores! the bed was beyond comfortable, I slept very well. room is fitted with very nice linens and not furnished with Walmart specials in every corner. didn't get a chance to use the deck as I got there a little late but its a very cool place/setup. highly recommend, and if you do stay here, dont arrive 5 hours after check in like I did! definitely not a bnb you go to just to sleep. spend a day here and unwind 😍
